FUNUTATION TEKADEMY RECOGNIZED BY CNC/ROBOTICS INNOVATORS

Funutation Tekademy, LLC, a national computer, robotics and STEM education company in Beachwood, Ohio has been recognized for leadership and contributions in robotics training courses by the inventors of the DIYLILCNC machine. The DIYLILCNC Project version 2.0 is a new and innovative product for the CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing) field, launched by two inventors and educators with funding and support from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
The DIYLILCNC Project version 2.0 is an inexpensive, fully functional 3-axis CNC milling and robotic cutting machine that you can be built by an individual with free, open-source plans using basic shop skills and tools. The inventors of the DIYLILCNC named one part of their machine after Funutation, as a way of recognizing the company’s contributions to robotics education. The specific part is named the “Funutation Tekademy Front” which is a Z Sled Panels / Z Cart Front.
Funutation Tekademy is a company that also supports open source computing in addition to providing educational robotics and computer camps and courses in the K-12 and adult education fields. Version 2.0 of the DIYLILCNC machine (also called the Big Shoulders) represents a new step forward for open source computing in the robotics, CNC and technology fields. These developments are supported by the Computing Resources and Information Technology Dept. (CRIT) and the Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects (AIADO) Department at SAIC.
