Nancy Herkul is a curvy woman on a mission to provide the curvy women of the world with beautiful fashion choices. She has just released the Curvezz’s label and its first collection for plus sized ladies.
While based in the Netherlands, the Curvezz label is sold internationally. Style, fit, versatility, fabrics, and comfort are all key components in designs, which are created to accentuate the beauty of a woman’s curves. Rather than hiding a voluptuous frame under large tent-like pieces of material, Nancy Herkul has created a collection which enhances the curves women like to show off and disguises the ones they don’t. “I had a back injury a while ago, and during that time, I gained a lot of weight. I found it impossible to buy the styles I love in larger sizes, so I would often buy items and have them altered to flatter my figure,” Curvezz Founder, Nancy Herkul says.
Curvezz’s debut collection has a contemporary and classic feel, but with a pinch of drama added for pizazz. The versatility of the pieces appeal to women around the world, and many items in the line fit the bill in the boardroom and during cocktail hour. At New York’s Full Figured Fashion Week in 2013, Curvezz made a soft launch, and with Herkul’s creativity, the new label is ready to take over the industry.
