Adyton Systems announces acquisition by Rohde&Schwarz
Leipzig-based next-generation firewall manufacturer Adyton Systems and Munich-based electronics group Rohde&Schwarz have successfully completed takeover process
(PresseBox) - Adyton Systems AG confirms acquisition by investor Rohde & Schwarz, a leading global solutions provider in measurement technology, radio monitoring and location technology, broadcasting and secure communication based in Munich. Rohde & Schwarz began investing in Adyton Systems in 2011. Since 2013, the Leipzig-based company has been run as an independent, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Rohde & Schwarz group and is now being restructured as a limited liability company.
By acquiring the network security solutions manufacturer, Rohde & Schwarz expands their product range in the field of IT security and thus makes a great investment in a rapidly growing market. With its comprehensive expertise, Adyton Systems represents a profitable addition to Rohde & Schwarz's existing portfolio and strengthens the group's presence in the network security segment.
"This acquisition guarantees us a reputation boost - not an insignificant thing in the IT security solutions sector, where gaining a foothold and asserting oneself among established competitors poses a great challenge for a young company.
