Unfortunately small and mid-sized companies don't have the financial resources or the fitting equipment to implement individual packaging for such campaigns, because their labels are often produced in large runs by third-party label print houses. For small manufacturers such as organic farms, beekeepers and custom cosmetic producers Primera's LX-Series of roll-fed inkjet colour label printers is the perfect solution with the possibility to use individuality as a selling point. A print resolution of 4800 dpi guarantees a printout in photorealistic quality and enables customers to add vibrant pictures of their products next to small texts such as ingredients, instructions or barcodes and still every detail of that label is razor-sharp. Labels can be printed whenever they are needed and in the required quantity.
In addition, the latest LX-Series model - the LX900e Color Label Printer - protects the environment by utilizing separate ink cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Hence, you only need to replace the ink cartridge that is empty instead of the entire cartridge set, saving money on every printed label and preventing the waste of ink if label designs use more of one colour than another.
For companies with larger production volumes Primera offers the CX1000e Color Label Printer and FX1000e Matrix Removal System. The roll-to-roll dry toner-based laser printer is almost maintenance free and easy to use and utilizes pre-die cut label stock. In order to get finished label rolls the FX1000e removes the waste label matrix along with slitting the liner and rewinding the printed labels.
An extensive range of label materials offers a great choice of label surfaces, which can be used to attract different customers. For example the new Vintage Paper Material is perfect for lovers of that "old time" or "used but hip" look. For packaging that should convey luxury and elegance Primera offers the FX400e Foil Printer that adds metallic gold, silver and now also red, blue, green, yellow, white or black foil to inkjet- or laser-printed labels.
Primera's label product range is completed by the AP Label Applicator Series. The AP360e single and AP362e front and back round container label applicator and the new AP550e flat sided label applicator for square sided bottles, boxes, pouches and bags apply labels faster, more accurately and wrinkle-free - helping to speed up the production and sell more products than by applying labels manually.
