IP38 analogue gateway: innovaphone addresses new markets in Europe and overseas
(PresseBox) - innovaphone AG, the specialist in IP telephony and UC solutions, forges ahead to new markets with the first analogue VoIP gateway. While the innovaphone product portfolio has focused on ISDN trunk connections to date, a VoIP gateway with an analogue connection is now available. With the development of the IP38, innovaphone is responding to high demand from countries in southern and eastern Europe as well as the US where most connections are predominantly analogue. As with all other innovaphone gateways, the IP38 VoIP gateway also serves as a basis for the innovaphone PBX.
Equipped with a total of 8 analogue interfaces, up to 100 subscribers can be connected to the IP38. Thus, the VoIP gateway is ideal for smaller companies as well as branch offices. Like all innovaphone products, the VoIP gateway can be extended as necessary at any time to even enable large installations with several thousand subscribers. The IP38 VoIP gateway connects to an analogue telephone line via an FXO port (Foreign Exchange Office). "While analogue connections in companies hardly exist anymore in Germany, they still significantly form a major part of the telephony market in some countries of eastern and southern Europe, but also in the United States where demand for our products has very much grown, therefore our IP38 is being welcomed with open arms", says Gerd Hornig, Executive Sales Manager at innovaphone AG.
The IP38 VoIP gateway is the hardware basis for the VoIP PBX software, innovaphone PBX, in the same way as any other innovaphone gateway. Thus the innovaphone Unified Communications solution "UC by innovaphone" and thus all modern communication channels such as chat, application sharing, or desktop-video telephony are available on the IP38.
The IP38 is expected to be available from April 2014 priced at 535 euros NET (+ VAT).
