Evaluation Board for Industrial Communication
(PresseBox) - For the ARM7 microcontroller gridARM?, PEAK-System provides an evaluation board as development platform. The Linux-based system leads out the microcontroller interfaces Gigabit Ethernet, High-speed CAN, USB 2.0, RS-232, SPI, and I²C. Furthermore, the board has 8 digital inputs and 8 outputs as well as 5 analog inputs that can be influenced or displayed by the board components for testing purposes. As mass storage, a microSD card can be used in the corresponding slot.
The Board Support Package (BSP) for Linux gives access to the hardware resources. The scope of delivery includes the Linux version 2.6.36. The developer accesses the system via the serial terminal. For augmented status indication, a HD44780-compatible text display can be attached.
The gridARM? microcontroller by the U.S. company Grid Connect is distributed exclusively in Europe by PEAK-System.
