New OTRS integration with baramundi
With the data interface between baramundi and OTRS, the effort related to the administration of inventory data in the IT service is reduced and competitive advantage increase.

IT GmbH, the most important developer and provider of additional modules for the free management system OTRS, publishes a further integration module for IT inventory. Next to the already well-known and product-specific interfaces for inventory, you can integrate common solution baramundi. The internal IT service of a company gets integration to management software for clients, servers and mobile devices and additionally, the automatic delivery of inventory data of software and hardware items into the configuration management data base of KIX4OTRS. At the same time, all changes within the CMDB are replicable directly. The effort for administration and inventory of items reduces extremely.

At the same time, the quality of the delivered service towards the end customers should not be influenced negatively by internal factors. The free and extensive own development of KIX4OTRS is an integrative platform for service processing. It is based on Open Source Software OTRS, an ITIL-conform system for service teams to document and track the internal and external communication effectively. KIX4OTRS is used by more than 2.000 organisations. The software enhances the ergonomics and uses of intelligent interfaces, therefore cost advantages are possible. For integrative and operative issues, c.a.p.e. IT has been developing a wide catalogue of additional modules which include module maintenance and porting of functionalities for current OTRS versions.
Next to the integration with the client management tools like baramundi, opsi or OCS Inventory NG, further additional maintained modules integrate telephone systems for automatic classification of customers, ERP and web shop systems for order and delivery data, as well as project service catalogues flexibly or ship improved and management-friendly KPI reports.
