Media Advisory: Giant Tiger Brantford Gives Back!
(firmenpresse) - BRANTFORD, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/16/13 -- Giant Tiger Brantford is pleased to announce a donation of $3,000 to The Brantford United Way. This donation represents a portion of sales from a month long "Round-Up Campaign" hosted at the Brantford Giant Tiger from November 3 to December 3.
During the "Round-Up Campaign," before a cashier finalizes a sale, they ask the customer if they would be interested in "rounding up" the total of their purchase to the nearest dollar and donating the change towards the fundraiser. For example, if a customer's purchases total $25.50, the cashier asks if the customer would like to round up their total to $26.00, donating the difference of $.50 to the fundraiser.

The official cheque presentation, on December 10, was hosted at the Giant Tiger on 82 King George Road, Brantford by owner Rick Fitzgerald and was attended by Cheryl Stornelli; a Campaign Associate of the Brant United Way.
