Leading the Way in Corporate Responsibility, the Childress Engineering Team Hits the Pavement With Relay For Life, Purple Stride, and Ragnar Relay

Tony Childress, CEO of Childress Engineering, recently participated in the grueling , an intense two day and one night relay race that stretches two hundred miles in a non-stop tag team style relay race built for beginners and veteran runners alike. Ragnar Relay hopes to increase each participants' quality of life by building memories, lasting relationships and improving health. Tony and CES were able to raise thirty thousand dollars in donations to support their charity of choice.

Family member and employee, Stephanie Childress, participated in . The race is a 5K that took place on November 9th, at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, TX. Volunteers and participants helped raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer research. They helped to raise more than $18 million and fund 94 research grants in ten years. Stephanie was proud to have raised more than $8,500 through her group.
In addition to these relay races, Childress Engineering is proud to announce their involvement in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. has more than 5,200 communities participating in over 20 countries. Relay For Life has been able to raise more than $400 million a year helping to fund research, expand awareness and save hundreds of lives.
