Desmarais, P.C., C.C., O.Q. He was promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada in 1986, after being invested as Officer in 1978.
The ceremony will be held at the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, located at 110 Notre-Dame Street West, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 3 p.m.
