Coficab Signs Contract With Infor to Unify Solutions With Infor LN
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 12/02/13 -- , a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced it has signed a contract with Coficab Group, one of the biggest worldwide suppliers of wires and cables for the automotive industry, involving a comprehensive multinational, multi-site implementation. The contract will see Coficab standardize on for , and the application will be implemented in Portugal initially, followed by Mexico, Morocco, Tunisia, Romania and the United States.
Coficab currently has disparate solutions, which hinder the harmonization of processes and the implementation of best practice across the group's factories. This disparity also compromises ease of access to information and consolidation of results. The capabilities of Infor LN for Automotive are designed to facilitate standardization of systems and easier reporting throughout Coficab Group, helping the company to streamline processes, reduce waste, increase productivity and enable new production units to be opened more quickly.
"This implementation will allow the Coficab Group to have a single information system across its factories, simplifying reporting, and allowing the group to follow its trajectory of growth through applying these processes to other markets," said João Pires, Financial Director of Coficab Portugal.
