ZOW – now even more compact!
ZOW 2014: Clarion Events Deutschland concentrates exhibition space to four halls.
(firmenpresse) - [Bad Salzuflen, 02 December, 2013] ZOW – the international supply show for the furniture industry and interior design sector – has just gotten more compact. Subsequent to the change in direction of the show concept, organizer Clarion Events Deutschland is concentrating ZOW 2014 to four halls: 20, 21, 22.1 and 22.2. The adjustment in size is a response to industry feedback and aims to further enhance the character of the show as a condensed platform for knowledge.
“After consultation with the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center, we have decided not to open hall 19 up as exhibition space next year,” says Horst Rudolph, managing director at Clarion Events Deutschland, the show organizer. “In the past, the focus in hall 19 was on hardware. In 2014, we’re incorporating this subject area into hall 22.1, where we can now provide a combined center of excellence in hardware and fittings.”
The new, more compact hall concept is a response by the show organizer to the caution among manufacturers and suppliers in this market segment. Since a number of large hardware manufacturers had cancelled, a deliberate decision was taken to dispense with the additional exhibition space. “At ZOW 2013, some of the longer distances inside and between the halls were criticized by some exhibitors,” says Rudolph. Dispensing with the exhibition space in hall 19 should therefore further enhance the show’s USP in future: that of concentrating relevant business contacts in a minimum of space. Clarion Events Deutschland is in close contact with exhibitors who had so far planned or booked a booth in hall 19 to offer exhibition space of at least equivalent value. “In some cases, we’re able to offer companies space that’s even more attractive,” adds Rudolph.
