When one thinks of train travel many things pop up, cab ride to the station, carrying luggage, ticket confirmation, food and what not. The most pressing of all is about the food on board. Online, must be difficult…? what if they don’t deliver it on time? What if my train is rerouted? The website is a cinch to use. The passenger can place their order using just their PNR number or their journey details. Once the details are submitted the website itself populates the passenger’s train route and the stations in that route where YatraChef can serve them. All the passenger needs to do is to choose the station, Check the menu and place their order. Alternatively they can make use of the multi lingual call centre available to assist them and the ordered food reaches the passengers at their selected halt.
Mr Vivek Subramanian, an NRI, who had used their service was extremely impressed with it, “ Me and my family were travelling to New Delhi from Ernakulam . We had ordered lunch through YatraChef for the first day and we were really surprised by the quality of service and the food delivered was indeed delicious and we ended up ordering dinner and the 2nd day’s breakfast as well.
