(NYSE: FDX), supports the Government of Canada's intent to ratify a free trade agreement with the European Union, the representative body of the largest economic region in the world. After four years of negotiations, the recent announcement in Brussels of an agreement on the Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) represents a significant milestone for Canada and its ability to compete in the global economy. FedEx Express Canada strongly believes that, once it is ratified by the Canadian government and European Union member states and is passed into law, CETA will facilitate economic growth in Canada.
