(TSX: BR) announces Cuvee Bru, its newest Alchemist Edition beer created by Brewmaster Paul Gautreau and his team. In collaboration with Therapy™ Vineyards & Guesthouse located on the Naramata Bench, British Columbia, Cuvee Bru marries the best of grapes and barley together to create a unique Druivenbier. Therapy Vineyards offered up their finest Pinot Gris grapes and Paul paired them with a comely, yet delicate ale to create this sophisticated libation.
Druivenbier, which is Flemish for "grape beer", is a rare gem among the North American craft beer landscape. To complement the Pinot Gris grapes, Paul used a unique blend of three Big Rock malts and Hallertau hops. Cuvee Bru glimmers with the subtle embrace of clover honey, while delicate hints of pear and melon continue to reveal themselves.
Only 5,300 numbered bottles are being produced, making this brew one of our most limited releases. Available in a 750ml champagne style bottle with cork and cage, Cuvee Bru makes its appearance November 18th, 2013 in Alberta and British Columbia.
