CBSA Removes 41st Individual "Wanted by the CBSA"
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/18/13 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the 41st removal of a person on the "" list.
On November 14, 2013, the CBSA successfully removed Daniel Alexander Brown from Canada. Brown was arrested on November 23, 2012 by members of the Toronto Immigration Task Force in Brampton, Ontario, as a result of a tip from the public. Brown is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality for having been convicted of trafficking in a narcotic and possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking. In addition, he has been convicted of assault, possession of a prohibited weapon, robbery, failure to comply with a recognizance, failure to comply with a probation order, escaping lawful custody, and failure to appear.
The Toronto Immigration Task Force comprises CBSA and Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers who work closely together to investigate immigration cases in the Greater Toronto Area.
To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 48 individuals in Canada, of which 41 have been removed. Additionally, nine other individuals were located abroad.
Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
