Billy Bee Buzzes with Excitement About its New Facebook Page and Contest
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/14/13 -- As part of its continuing brand refresh, the 55-year-old leading Billy Bee brand has launched its very own Facebook Page.
Last fall, Billy Bee launched a new bee bottle, fun new recipes underneath its top selling beehive bottle labels, and an interactive website.
"Billy Bee really comes to life on the Facebook Page," says Kristen Heleniak, Billy Bee's Senior Product Manager with McCormick Canada. "It is a great way for consumers to engage with Billy Bee and get excited by the fun crafts, easy recipes and sweet posts."
Billy Bee's Facebook Page kicked-off with a "Spread the Sweetness" campaign and contest, which encourages participants to 'like' the page and send a 'Billy Bee-mail' to their friends on Facebook for a chance to win a $5,000 cash prize. There are also early bird prize packs for the first 50 individuals who entered into the contest.
Participants will be able to select one out of three Billy Bee mail layouts to write a personalized message or choose a prepopulated message to send to their Facebook friends.
Visitors will also be able to explore on a map where 'Billy Bee mail' has been sent across Canada by the halo around Billy Bee. The more 'Billy Bee mails' sent, the larger the halo.
