(firmenpresse) - SUGAR LAND, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 11/14/13 -- Researched by Industrial Information Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- On October 29, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Washington, D.C.) and National Electric Coil (Columbus, Ohio) returned Unit 1 to service at the Barkley Station in Kuttawa, Kentucky. The unit was tripped offline on December 12, 2010, due to the generator burning up, which resulted in a generator rewind. During this rewind, the stator and more than 500 coils had to be replaced, and rotor poles had to be reinsulated.
