Kathryn Manning Joins Wortzman Nickle
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/11/13 -- Susan Wortzman, founder of Wortzman Nickle, is pleased to announce that Kathryn Manning has joined the firm as Counsel. In her new role, Kathryn will be part of the e-discovery team advising our clients on all stages of the e-discovery process. As well, she will be advising the firm's clients with respect to information governance, privacy and records management. Kathryn joins Wortzman Nickle with more than 15 years of corporate commercial litigation experience. Prior to joining our firm, Kathryn was litigation counsel at one of Canada's leading law firms for over 12 years.
As part of her litigation practice, Kathryn gained extensive experience in complex commercial disputes, including class actions. She frequently appeared at all levels of the Ontario courts. Kathryn also advised her clients on best practices relating to e-discovery and information governance and led large, complex document collection, processing and review projects. A member of the Ontario E-Discovery Implementation Committee since January 2006, and of The Sedona Conference, Working Group 7, Sedona Canada, Kathryn is actively involved in developing best practices with respect to e-discovery. She is a frequent speaker on e-discovery and related topics. She is also currently a Trustee of the Toronto Lawyers' Association and a member of the Executive of the OBA Class Actions Section where she acts as Technology Liaison.
