Chewed Slippers Photography Kicks off Edmonton's Season of Giving

In the spirit of giving, Chewed Slippers is hosting three holiday "" events with all proceeds going to Boyle Street Community Services and The Pet Food Bank. The pet photographers are bringing their studio to three pet-friendly locations to photograph your furry friend with Santa Claws. Your photo is free with a donation to Boyle Street Community Services, the Outreach Centre, or the Pet Food Bank. "We want families to be able to make a fun and lasting memory with their pet while contributing to an important cause," says Amanda Adkins, co-owner of Chewed Slippers. "It's not only people who go without during the holidays in the city."
Chewed Slippers is offering an event "Santa Special" for you to book photo sessions and purchase gift certificates for half-price. There will be treats for you and your pet, and the chance to "spin and win" on the prize wheel. Your pet photo will also be entered in the 1st Annual "Cutest Christmas Pet" photo contest on the . The top three winners will be determined by popular vote and will share over $1000 in prizes.
Donations of warm winter gear, pet food and accessories in particular are very much appreciated. Donation cheques can be made payable to Boyle Street Service Society; please specify the Pet Food Bank in the memo line.
Join Chewed Slippers on Thursday, November 14th at 5:00 pm at The Pet Spa, Saturday, November 16th from 11:00 to 2:00 pm at Tailblazers West Edmonton, or Sunday, November 17th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Pet Planet Windermere. Visit for more information on event locations and donation guidelines.
