Media Advisory: Governor General to Deliver Address at Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario's Annual Conference
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/05/13 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will deliver the welcoming address at the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario's annual conference, on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at 8:30 a.m., in the Dominion Ballroom of the Sheraton Centre Toronto (123 Queen Street West). This year's conference entitled "Rethinking Higher Ed: Beyond the Buzzwords," will be held on November 7 and 8, 2013.
On this occasion, His Excellency will reinforce the importance of higher learning and discuss the challenges that educational organizations are currently facing.
"Higher education is simply too complex for the best approaches to emerge from one person or even one group, from within one country or even one region of the world," stated His Excellency. "Yet smart answers that make higher education a more enriching, rewarding and fulfilling experience for students are out there to be found.
