SM&A Appoints Al Munson as Chairman of the Board
Aerospace, Defense and Intelligence Veteran Brings Experience to Competition and Program Support Consulting Firm
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/04/13 -- SM&A, a leading provider of competition and program management services, announced today the appointment of Alden V. Munson as its Chairman of the Board. Munson is the former Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Acquisition and Technology, and currently serves on the Pentagon's Defense Science Board. He is a Senior Fellow and Member of the Board of Regents at the Potomac institute for Policy Studies, and is an advisor to several defense and intelligence agencies. He is also a former client and advisor with SM&A.

Munson, of Manhattan Beach, CA, previously served in a variety of senior positions in the aerospace and defense industry including posts with Litton, TRW, and the Aerospace Corporation. He was among the first group of Pioneers of National Reconnaissance named by the NRO in 2000. Munson currently serves on the Board of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance.
