(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/01/13 -- At the conclusion of Cyber Security Awareness Month, the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, encouraged Canadians to take action to be cyber safe throughout the year:

Cyber Security Awareness Month is a collaborative initiative by governments and industry to help individuals become more aware of cyber security risks and provide them with the information they need to be safe online.

Get Cyber Safe is a national public awareness campaign created to educate Canadians about Internet security and the simple steps they can take to protect themselves.
