Electric Moto Teams With AAC on New York State Power Grid Infrastructure Proposal
(firmenpresse) - CONGERS, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 10/29/13 -- Electric Moto Corporation, Inc. (OTC Pink: EMOT) announced today the completion of its second collaboration with Advanced Automation Corp., serving as a consultant to AAC () in a proposal that offers solutions associated with Plug-In Vehicles and their impact upon the New York State and National Electric Power Grids.
According to the Proposal Document submitted to the NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority): "Proliferation of Plug-in Electric Vehicles (PEVs) puts the integrity of the National Electric Grid (NEG) at risk. NEG outages already cost over $100B/year nationally, and over $40B to New York State. Outages caused by weather are the most common. Other problematic situations include load disturbances, over-capacity, and voltage / frequency regulation."
AAC and EMOT have proposed a "Focus Area 1 PEV and Electrical Grid Interaction" project to demonstrate the use of cutting-edge technologies to reveal the effect of a dramatic and ongoing increase in battery-charging upon the integrity of the grid. The Business Case Analysis will analyze cost and commercialization possibilities in protecting the integrity of the NEG, and in the development of advanced vehicles, batteries and charging systems for home, gas stations (power stations) and businesses.
Robert Lancellotti, Chairman and CEO of EMOT: "In a very short time, we have seen how EMOT's association with Advanced Automation Corp. has broadened our opportunity to bring technology to bear in addressing societal needs, and in creating revenue streams for the firm."
