ScrubaDub & Community Servings Team Up to Feed Critically Ill and Get Dirty Cars off Streets
(firmenpresse) - NATICK, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/29/13 -- Community Serving's 21st annual Pie in the Sky campaign has expanded their partnership with New England's leading car wash company, ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers, to raise support for providing home-delivered meals to individuals and families battling life threatening illness. The Paisner-Family owned car wash corporation will give $10 car wash vouchers to anyone who buys a pie or makes a $5 donation at ScrubaDub locations across New England as part of their annual ScrubaDub Cares initiative.
Through November 15th, the company-wide initiative will offer individuals a $10 car wash voucher if they donate $5 to feed the critically ill or buy a pie from ScrubaDub's Pie in the Sky web page at . The $5 donations can be made at or any ScrubaDub tunnel location in MA, RI, NH, or ME. ScrubaDub committed to raising a minimum of $10,000.
According to Community Servings, a $5 donation feeds a critically ill individual for a day; a $25 pie will feed a sick person for a week. With help from Community Servings, ScrubaDub is educating their staff and customers about the importance of providing nutritious, home-delivered meals to individuals and families battling Cancer, HIV/AIDS, MS and more. In addition, ScrubaDub locations in: Brookline, Natick, Boston, Shrewsbury, Woburn and Worcester will all be designated pie pick-up sites.
