Perfect Teeth's Brighter Schools, Brighter Smiles Campaign Benefits Local Schools
(firmenpresse) - DENVER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/28/13 -- , a network of dental offices in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona operated by Birner Dental Management Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: BDMS), recently collected more than 13,000 school supplies during its Brighter Schools, Brighter Smiles campaign, directly benefiting thousands of children at 66 community schools.
The Brighter Schools, Brighter Smiles initiative provided a discount on all dental treatment (excluding orthodontics) to patients who brought in school supplies for donation to local schools in the communities serves.
"Perfect Teeth's donation of school supplies was a much needed surprise as our school was running low on school purchased supplies," explained Tamra Maupin, Sierra Middle School counselor. "Sierra Middle is now well stocked with supplies and can ensure that every student is equipped to learn despite financial difficulties thanks to the generosity and kindness of Perfect Teeth and their patients."
"We are thrilled that in the campaign's inaugural year we exceeded our goal of collecting 10,000 school supplies. Every year, approximately 16 million families in the United States cannot afford to buy school supplies for their children," explained Fred Birner, chief executive officer of Birner Dental Management Services, Inc. "Through this campaign, we were able to lessen the burden on thousands of these families who live in our communities."
The network of dental offices is the largest provider of dental services throughout Colorado and New Mexico with a growing presence in Arizona. Across the region there are 66 dental offices and more than 120 dentists providing both general and specialty dental services.
