(firmenpresse) - DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 10/23/13 -- employees were invited to wear pink on October 18th in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM). The goal is to raise the level of breast cancer awareness across the nation, as well as to honor those Lincoln Military Housing employees who are survivors of breast cancer. Lincoln Military employees nationwide were encouraged to take photos in their pink attire, or with pink NBCAM ribbons, and post them to their individual community social media pages. Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are a few of the social media outlets that displayed Lincoln Military employees supporting this incredibly worthy cause.
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a collaboration among public service groups, medical associations, and governmental groups that has existed for over 25 years. NBCAM has helped fund research projects, deliver health-related information to men and women, and acts as the central hub for several charitable organizations. Lincoln Military Housing is proud to encourage increased awareness around advanced breast cancer research, and encourages anyone interested in helping fund research or patient care to visit , , or .
Lincoln Military Housing (LMH) was formed in 2001 through a Department of Defense (DOD) contract with parent company Lincoln Property Company. The goal has always been to increase the quality of military housing for our nation's servicemen and women. Since its inception over ten years ago, Lincoln Military Housing now provides more than 31,000 family homes for military members across the US. Lincoln is much more than a property management company. LMH acts as a support system for military families and offers community-building activities and 24-hour maintenance assistance programs for each home. Services are available for members of all branches of service -- Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, United States Coast Guard, and National Guard.
