A new craft festival will add another dimension of fun and entertainment to the Delray Marketplace this weekend. This popular destination in West Delray will host the debut of American Craft Endeavors' newest outdoor-juried craft festival. The Delray Marketplace Art & Craft Festival will showcase the work of 100 top artists and crafters. Many of the exhibitors will be wearing pink in a show of solidarity and others will be selling works of art inspired by their experiences with breast cancer, hoping to raise awareness and funds for this devastating disease.
Jewelry designer Gail Small, of Last Call Glass, has created a unique piece for the festival giveaway. Gail describes the handcrafted prize, titled "Pink Tree of Life" and valued at $49, as an "upcycled" glass art necklace. The giveaway prize will be on display in Gail's booth throughout the weekend where registration will also take place. A wide variety of original art, handmade crafts and affordable unique gift items will be on display and for sale with prices set to suit all budgets. All artists and crafters will be present for the duration of the festival and welcome the opportunity to meet patrons and art enthusiasts.
