Red Giant Provides First Look and Update on Wayward Sons

Wayward Sons is set to launch alongside Tesla in the company's new free book line with Giant-Size Action #1, currently scheduled for July 2, 2014 release. The first several issues have already been written, and now fans have an opportunity to see advance artwork and designs from this highly-anticipated series on the company's Facebook pages.
Wayward Sons will be written by series creator and Red Giant CEO, Benny Powell. Artwork will be provided by comics veteran, Nigel Raynor, whose work has graced the pages of comics such as Marvel's X-Men and Avengers books, among many others.
Wayward Sons is the modern-day spin-off of the company's most popular online comic, Wayward Sons: Legends. Legends follows the exploits of two groups of aliens who crash-landed five thousand years ago on Earth, and the resulting war between the factions would inspire every myth, legend, and fairy tale in human history. Wayward Sons: Legends was the first title from Red Giant Entertainment to launch online in 2010, and has served nearly half a billion ad impressions since its launch.
After a brief hiatus, Wayward Sons: Legends is also now returning to regular updates to finish off Volume 5 of the series. These updates can be read for free at and will be available in bookstores by Spring 2014. As previously reported, the Wayward Sons franchise is currently in development as a feature film through Lin Pictures.
