NorRock Realty Finance Corporation Announces Appointment of Officer
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/15/13 -- NorRock Realty Finance Corporation (TSX VENTURE: RF.H) ("NorRock" or the "Corporation") announces today that as the Corporation is working to reactivate as an active business and move from NEX to be listed on TSX Venture Exchange, Raymond Steele has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. Mr. Steele was initially appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation on September 15, 2012.
Mr. Steele has over 25 years of experience as an investment professional managing money for pension funds, mutual funds, and other institutional clients. In addition he has a vast array of experience with the marketing, administrative, technological, and regulatory aspects of the investment management business. He was a founder, investment manager, and CFO of Mavrix Fund Management Inc, a TSX listed company, from 2001 to 2010. Mr. Steele has a B.Comm. from the University of Ottawa, is a Certified Management Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

The Corporation is a mutual fund corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario. The Corporation was initially created to obtain exposure to the investment performance of an actively managed portfolio of secured loans and investments in the Canadian commercial real estate sector on a tax-efficient basis.
