MM Asset Management Inc. Acquired Control Over Common Shares of Kimber Resources Inc.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/10/13 -- MM Asset Management Inc. ("MMAM") announced that one fund it manages and advises, MMCAP International Inc. SPC ("MMCAP"), acquired an additional 100 common shares ("Shares") of Kimber Resources Inc. ("Kimber") today through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange at an average price of $0.15 per share. A take-over bid for all of the outstanding Shares was filed by Invecture Group, S.A. de C.V. with the securities regulatory authorities on October 10, 2013.
Following the acquisition of these 100 Shares, MMCAP now beneficially owns and MMAM exercises control and direction over, in the aggregate, 6,104,200 Shares, which represents, as at the date hereof, approximately 5.83% of Kimber's 104,697,876 outstanding Shares, as reported by Kimber in its Directors' Circular dated October 10, 2013.
MMCAP has acquired such securities for investment purposes only. Depending on market conditions and other factors, MMCAP may from time to time acquire additional securities of Kimber or dispose of such securities in the open market, by private agreement or otherwise.
