Medient Studios' Chairman and CEO Manu Kumaran to Speak at American Intercontinental University
(firmenpresse) - EFFINGHAM, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/09/13 -- Manu Kumaran, Chairman and Chief executive officer of Medient Studios, Inc. (OTCQB: MDNT) ('Medient'), will participate in a "State of the Studios" panel discussion at the American Intercontinental University Student Center, on Thursday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. The panel discussion is presented by Media Communications Association - International's Atlanta chapter and will be moderated by Craig Dominey, senior location specialist and project manager at the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office.
During the panel discussion, selected speakers will discuss the booming film and video industry, plans for the future and what skills the industry needs from local actors, technicians and creative talents. Georgia's film and television production industry has created more than 30,000 jobs according to state officials, and more than 30 supplier companies have expanded or located here since the state passed tax incentives in 2008.
In addition to participating in the panel discussion, Kumaran will present an overview of Medient Studios and the company's progress on the new Studioplex, which is expected to bring in excess 1,200 new jobs to the region.
