The online retailer will carry a vast inventory of powder coating powders, supplies and equipment, allowing them to fulfill and ship every order with efficiency and convenience. As an authorized retailer of Axalta®, PowderDepot.com™ will carry Alesta® Powders, including all RAL colors, and will custom package powders in 1, 3 and 5 lb., reusable containers. Customers are encouraged to combine their powder needs with spare parts, pretreatment chemicals and preparation products, and have their order arrive at the door in a single shipment.
"After decades of running a successful brick-n-mortar retail store in the powder coating industry, we saw the growing need of our customers seeking to buy small, custom units of powders but didn't need the industries' required minimum of 55lbs. These savvy boutique and emerging coaters wanted options and didn't want to compromise the quality they were looking for," stated Mario Hernandez as to why he and his partners started PowderDepot.com.
PowderDepot.com will carry major brand name supplies and parts from vendors such as Axalta, 3M, BCI (Bulk Chemicals Incorporated) and Maverick to name a few. The online retailer will officially launch and announce the site at the PCI (Powder Coating Institute) 2013 Show in St. Louis, Mo., this October 8th, 2013.
