Eight top suppliers receive the MANN+HUMMEL Global Supplier Award 2013
(PresseBox) - They are the key enablers of MANN+HUMMEL?s success ? the partners and suppliers of the global filtration specialist. The increasingly demanding customer requirements in the automotive industry require consistent improvements in quality and increased flexibility of all participants in the value chain. For the third year in a row, the company honours suppliers for their extraordinary performance with the Global Supplier Award.
Given the growth targets of the company, purchasing and supplier development are gaining in strategic importance. In line with turnover, the purchasing volume of the filtration specialist is expected to increase by approximately 40% by 2018 to reach 2.5 billion euros.

Today, I am happy to present the Global Supplier Award 2013 of the MANN+HUMMEL group to eight partners who implement our requirements in an exceptional manner." Frank Jehle and Hanno Hoehn, Group Vice President Purchasing for MANN+HUMMEL, presented the awards today in Stuttgart.
The Global Supplier Event 2013 of the MANN+HUMMEL group takes place under the motto "connected for success ? boosting global purchasing performance". The awards are designed to be an acknowledgement of the successful partnerships suppliers have with the company, and also serve as an incentive for future co-operation.
The best of the best out of 67 top suppliers from 14 countries are:
?Argomm S.p.A., rubber sealing and component manufacturer, Italy;
?Tech-link Silicones Co., Ltd., rubber duct manufacturer, China;
?Wallstabe & Schneider GmbH & Co. KG, rubber sealing and component manufacturer, Germany and India;
?Foma S.P.A., diecast aluminium manufacturer; Italy;
?PSM International Fasteners Ltd., fastening manufacturer; Hongkong, China
?VoestAlpine Stahl Service Center GmbH, steel-based technology group, Austria;
?S.E.P., filter body manufacturer, France;
?Stampline Metais Estampados Ltda., metal parts manufacturer, Brazil.
