TSgt Noel Fox of Lompoc Receives Scholarship to Grantham University
Student Pursuing His MBA With Eugene "Gene" Jewett Memorial Scholarship for Business Students
(firmenpresse) - KANSAS CITY, MO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/04/13 -- Grantham University, , has named Technical Sergeant (TSgt) Noel Fox of Lompoc, Cali., as the recipient of the first annual Eugene "Gene" Jewett Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship, valued up to $37,000, covers the cost of tuition, textbooks, software and associated fees for the completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Grantham's Mark Skousen School of Business. TSgt Fox, a 4.0 student, is pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Established in 2013 by Grantham University, the scholarship honors the late Eugene "Gene" Jewett, a thought leader, early advocate of online education, and GEC board member.
TSgt Fox has served in the United States Air Force for 17 years, and hopes to use his MBA to better manage, motivate, and inspire those he leads, currently and in the future. "Earning this scholarship has helped ensure that I will have a back-up plan to land a job doing what I love after retiring," he said. "I'll be able to stay on pace with my educational plan, regardless of sequestration, and become a diverse and productive member of society long after I have left military service."
