New Luxury Garage Doors Simulate Wood Carriage House Styles, While Delivering Heat Resistance, Low Maintenance, and Unique Color Palette
(firmenpresse) - MORGANTOWN, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/02/13 -- With its extensive new line of carriage style garage doors, has successfully blended luxury and practicality. The detailed subtle patterns of Sapele Mahogany simulate tropical hardwood grains and textures on a lightweight, low maintenance composite facing. The result is a composite and polystyrene-insulated steel construction that manages to convincingly look the part of a genuine wooden carriage house door.
"We had tremendous interest ever since we previewed Rhapsody at the ," notes Matt Courtney, President of Artisan, "However, that interest has come from all across the country -- lakefront homes, mountain areas, and states as diverse as Eastern Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Louisiana. There was appreciation of the many architectural details, but there was real enthusiasm about our colors, particularly three Driftwood finishes, which look great on beach homes."
Artisan collaborated with on a dramatic range of 10 finishes, including three never-before-offered Driftwood colors. In addition, custom painting in virtually any color extends the Rhapsody spectrum even farther. Artisan uses special heat-reflective finishes to minimize solar heat gain, especially in coastal installations.
Rhapsody designs can be single or double swing or single or double trifold styles. Doors can be customized with v-groove, raised/recessed panels, windload hardware, solid tops, or many window options, including insulated glass. Artisan uses no exterior fasteners, so outward appearance isn't hampered by nail or screw holes. The company also uses weighted, heavy-duty hardware where it is needed for performance, but lightweights the overall door, ensuring years of trouble-free performance with operators, rollers, springs, and other essential door system components.
Artisan has been quietly taking and filling Rhapsody orders since the start of 2013. The company is currently rolling out the Rhapsody line on a national basis. Its next preview event is the , November 19-21.
