Anapol Schwartz Attorney to Discuss Distracted Driving With 1,200 Pennsylvania Students
(firmenpresse) - PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/02/13 -- Nearly 1,200 Bucks County high school students will gather on Wednesday, October 2 during four class periods to learn about the dangers of distracted driving from Anapol Schwartz partner and (EndDD) founder Joel Feldman.
Feldman will be joined by other regional experts as he delivers his scientifically-based that has reached more than 100,000 people nationwide. Other presenters include Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler, trauma surgeon Dr. Raymond Talucci from St. Mary Medical Center, Lower Makefield Township and Falls Township police officers, and Awareness Teen Advisory Group (ATAG) members.
The message they're delivering is clear: Distracted driving kills innocent people and changes lives forever.
"We must change the culture in this country so that drunk driving and distracted driving are no longer socially acceptable," Feldman said. "We will only do that by having entire communities get together to commit to safer driving. This is not just a teen problem -- it is everyone's problem, and we all need to work together to save lives."
Feldman's steadfast campaign combines decades of experience as a successful trial lawyer with his grief over the loss of his daughter Casey in a distracted driving accident in 2009. Since then, he has enlisted hundreds of lawyers, teachers, health care staff and other professionals to join EndDD to stop this driving safety crisis in the U.S. and Canada.
"The organizers of this event should be congratulated for gathering together law enforcement from District Attorney David Heckler, police departments, physicians, traffic safety officials, educators, students and victims of distracted driving," Feldman said.
The Anapol Schwartz national law firm is a leader in product liability and pharmaceutical litigation, having successfully advocated for victims in state and federal courts during the last 30 years. The firm supports a wide variety of projects and organizations that make the community a better and safer place.
