Houston Marriott North Feeds Firefighters for the Holidays

To honor these hard-working men and women, the Houston Marriott North plans to provide hot meals for the local firehouse.
The staff at these will be preparing and delivering a hotel meal for the local firehouse crew on both Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
The team at this hotel near Houston International Airport will prepare and deliver the holiday lunches, which will serve the crew on duty, usually between eight and 12 members. Since the firehouse crew has limited time, meals are delivered quickly, and after a quick photo-op, the staff is on their way back to the hotel within 20 minutes. Many staff members will also bring their children to participate.
For Thanksgiving, the firehouse crew will dine on tossed salad with assorted dressings, a variety of lunch rolls, sliced oven-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, giblet gravy, stuffing, green beans, yams, mashed potatoes and both pumpkin and pecan pies. On Christmas, the menu will include tossed salad with assorted dressings, a variety of lunch rolls, sliced roasted prime rib of beef, aus jus, horseradish sauce, fresh winter vegetables, Lyonnais potatoes and an assortment of holiday desserts.
