Governor General to Visit the Okanagan Region
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/27/13 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will visit the cities of Kelowna and Penticton, and the town of Oliver, on September 29 and 30, 2013.
The program for this visit will focus on learning more about innovation in the Canadian business community; highlighting the generosity of individuals and organizations who are giving back to their communities through leadership and volunteerism; and launching a new Smart and Caring initiative in British Columbia-all issues at the heart of the Governor General's mandate.
