NXP Announces Best Supplier Awards

(NASDAQ: NXPI) has announced the winners of its annual Supplier Awards at the company's third Supplier Day in Singapore today. Senior executives from 75 of NXP's key suppliers were in attendance representing all spend areas (Materials, Equipment, External Manufacturing, IT, Innovation & Indirect). The event was hosted by Rick Clemmer, President and CEO, NXP Semiconductors and the theme was 'Quality Performance and Quality Partnerships'.
"The NXP Supplier Day event continues to be a very important milestone in the NXP calendar and having the entire NXP management team in attendance today acknowledges the critical importance of our suppliers to our ongoing success to deliver 'Secure Connections for a Smarter World'. The awards process gives us the opportunity to recognize outstanding performance in support of NXP business objectives and the interactive nature of the day allows for excellent dialogue and alignment on expectations", said Rick Clemmer.
As a recognition of superior performance, NXP presented awards to suppliers across nine different award categories:
Air Products, gases and chemicals
ASMC, foundry external manufacturing
Enomoto, leadframes
Tanaka, bonding wires
Axcelis, semiconductor manufacturing equipment
: GlobalFoundries, foundry external manufacturing
: TMC, scrap metal recycling services
UMC, foundry external manufacturing

TSMC, foundry external manufacturing
: Linxens, flexible etched circuits
ASE, back-end external manufacturing
DHL, warehousing, transportation and logistics partner
In addition to the corporate supplier awards NXP also acknowledged five Account Managers with 'Customer Advocate' awards in recognition of their dedication and commitment to drive collaboration between NXP and their respective companies.
