(firmenpresse) - FEASTERVILLE, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/23/13 -- This past Saturday, Colonial Volkswagen Subaru awarded the Round 1 winners of the Your Drive. Our Wheels. Contest, an online-voting based contest that calls for entries and nominations of individuals that make a difference in their communities. At this first on-location contest event, each Round 1 winner was given a monthly prize package and an entry into the grand-prize voting round to come later this year. The grand prize of a Subaru Crosstrek or Volkswagen Jetta is now within reach for these extraordinary people.
Philip Jagiela, one of the Round 1 winners awarded Saturday, was nominated for this compelling story:
"For the past ten years Philip has played Santa for the Philadelphia Regional Limousine Association's campaign. Each December, he and other area limo operators take their limousines to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children to distribute toys to every child in the hospital as well as siblings and children in the lobby..."
The Your Drive. Our Wheels. Contest is currently in the voting period for Round 2. Some of the story submissions include a man who has helped raise over $12,000 for a local nonprofit, a woman who actively supports the fight against cancer, and many other individuals who donate time and knowledge to better the lives of others. Colonial Volkswagen Subaru asks that you log on to and vote for individuals you feel deserve to win a car. Round 2 voting ends at the end of September, at which point Round 3 entries begin (Round 3 entries and nominations accepted starting October 1st). Anyone from anywhere can log on to vote each day while voting is in session. You can help award someone truly deserving, so be sure to get your Round 2 votes in early and often through the month of September.
