Turn Your $1 Alzheimer Society Donation Into $3, Tomorrow at Bulk Barn
(firmenpresse) - RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/20/13 -- On Saturday, September 21, Bulk Barn Foods Ltd., in conjunction with World Alzheimer Day, is participating in a corporate & franchisee dollar match promotion benefiting the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
Visit any Bulk Barn location across Canada this Saturday, and when you donate $1, corporate office and their franchisees will each contribute $1, providing a triple dollar donation to the charity. All of the money raised stays in the local communities to assist with Alzheimer Society programs and services. The Coffee Break® fundraising program has been running at all Bulk Barn locations since September 6 and will wrap up tomorrow.
Bulk Barn has proudly supported the Alzheimer Society Coffee Break® fundraiser over the past nine years with all stores participating annually. Since Bulk Barn started participating, they have raised more than $1.3 million.
According to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, over 747,000 Canadians live with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia and that number is expected to reach well over 1 million in the next generation. Coffee Break® is the Alzheimer Society's major nationwide annual fundraiser where the money raised stays in the community to help support local programs and services.
