David Weitzman has been promoted to the position of VP, Business Development at ole.
Weitzman was integral to ole's recent acquisition of the Sony Pictures Entertainment music publishing catalog, as well as ole's 2012 deal with Grammy-winning writer, producer and artist Timbaland.
Since joining ole in 2009, Weitzman has strategically sourced and developed several important ole deals, particularly in the A/V rights management space.

Weitzman, who is a current board member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), L.A. Chapter, arrived at ole with wide-ranging experience in the record industry and in the TV/film business as a music supervisor for a number of programs and networks including MTV.
