WINAICO introduces new PV module series for projects
WST-series allowing customers more project flexibility
Creglingen, 18.09.2013 – Taiwanese solar module manufacturer Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd. has developed the new WINAICO WST-series of solar modules to support its customers special projects.
(firmenpresse) - After a long standing dispute the European Commission and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce found a compromise on the trade dispute with regards to the importation of Chinese solar modules. This agreement allows low cost Chinese panels to be imported at a minimum cost. With the resulting influx of cheap panels it is important for project developers to ensure they retain their quality standards as well as being competitive on price. For this reason WINAICO has introduced a range of WST for use in commercial and large-scale solar projects.
“In the past we only used our WST-series for selected projects. In response to the current market situation, our customers need to be competitive for hard-fought price-sensitive projects, so it is now available for all large-scale systems“, explains Marc Ortmanns, Head of European Sales & Marketing at WINAICO.
The WST-series is available in either 245 W or 250 W and features a silver 35 mm single-walled frame and a new junction box. It differs from WINAICO’s WSP series in that it has only 10 years product warranty.
“As all our module series, the WINAICO WST-series is produced on our own automated production line in Taiwan, which ensures the high quality our customers are used to“, says Marc Ortmanns.
The minimum order size is 6 pallets or 40,5 kWp and the modules are available immediately.
