New version of the PACS viewer aycan OsiriX PRO available
(firmenpresse) - With the new aycan OsiriX PRO workstation with 64-bit and CE mark as a Class IIb medical device, aycan Digitalsysteme GmbH again adds further clinical applications and workflow improvements to its popular software. In addition to an improved ROI handling and the automatic storage of measurements and screenshots within the PACS, the highlights of the new version 2.6.4 are:
1. Improved Reporting:
With this optional plug-in, users are able to easily create quick results with customized templates. Calculated values from the viewer can be transferred automatically into defined fields.
- Automated transfer of measurements
- Instant saving, PDF export and email dispatch
2. Multimodal Registration:
The optional FusionSync plug-in provides a hardware-accelerated image registration algorithm, which enables the simultaneous representation of multimodal series and its follow-up examinations by an automated image fusion.
- Automatic image registration for CT, MRI, PET and SPECT
- Interactive image fusion in 3D
- Synchronization of follow-up studies
3. RIS Connection:
Another new feature is the integration of iSoft RIS, besides the already implemented interfaces to Medavis, Turbomed, Medistar, MCS Isynet, DocConcept, Mq, Albis, MacDoc.
