Chair of the Health Council of Canada & President and CEO of The Ottawa Hospital to Address Economic Club
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/19/13 -- The Health Council of Canada, an independent, national public reporting agency, provides a system-wide perspective on health care reform in Canada and disseminates information on innovative practices across the country. Since 2004, reports from the Health Council have traced federal, provincial and territorial initiatives to address priorities set out in the 2003 First Ministers Accord on Health Care Renewal and the 2004 10 year Plan to Strengthen Health Care. What progress has been made?
On September 19th, the Health Council will release its latest report which outlines how Canada can and needs to get on a better path towards achieving a higher performing health system. This is a 'must attend' event for all those concerned about the slow progress of health care reform over the past decade. Following his remarks, Dr. Kitts will address questions from the audience.
