Intergraph(R) PV Elite(R) Webinar on October 1st to Discuss ASME Pressure Vessel Code Changes Including Those Mandatory January 2014
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 09/18/13 -- Intergraph is hosting a PV Elite webinar on October 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. CT that will review the latest code changes in ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and 2 and Section II, Part D, including code changes that will be mandatory in January 2014. Division 1 provides requirements for the design, fabrication, inspection, testing, and certification of pressure vessels operating at either internal or external pressures, including fired and unfired vessels. Division 2 provides for more vigorous requirements on materials, design, and nondestructive examination, including vessels for human occupancy such as in the diving industry. Section II, Part D provides standards for material properties that go into vessels. The webinar leader will be Scott Mayeux, director of development for Pressure Vessels and Exchanger Solutions at Intergraph.
