Materazo brings more than 25 years of food and beverage as well as consumer packaged goods experience to his new role.
With cross-functional leadership skills that include sales, operations, trade marketing, business development and corporate strategy, Materazo has built and led cohesive teams for both large publicly traded Fortune 500 companies including Kraft Foods, Del Monte Foods and ConAgra Foods, as well as small privately held companies including Sargento.
Most recently, Materazo was vice president of sales for Central Garden and Pet where he led the company's transition towards a consolidated consumer product goods company with a diverse portfolio of products. Prior to Central Garden and Pet, Materazo served as vice president for ConAgra Foods, where he managed an entire portfolio including frozen, refrigerated, dry grocery and snacks brands.
