Meritage Reports Acquisition of Two Wendy's Restaurants in Jacksonville Designated Market Area
(firmenpresse) - GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 09/13/13 -- Meritage Hospitality Group Inc. (OTCQX: MHGU), one of the nation's premier restaurant operators, announced the acquisition of two Wendy's restaurants in the Jacksonville, FL designated market area.
The newly acquired Wendy's restaurants are located in Kingsland, GA and Jacksonville, FL.
"On behalf of Meritage we wish to welcome our 90 new Wendy's team members to the Company." stated Robert Schermer, Jr., CEO of Meritage Hospitality Group. "Meritage remains committed to acquisitions, new store development and the modernization of its Wendy's restaurant portfolio," added Mr. Schermer.
In addition Meritage has commenced construction on three Wendy's "Image Activation" remodel programs, which the company believes will accelerate the brand transformation of its Wendy's portfolio.
