Events Focused on Cloud Computing and Disaster Recovery for Law Firms Will Take Place on September 24 in Orange County and September 26 in San Diego

The events are designed for information technology (IT) and administrative professionals who support law firms and corporate legal departments. Each event will focus on a critical topic for these audiences: cloud computing in Orange County on September 24 and disaster recovery in San Diego on September 26.
"Our clients and members of the ILTA and ALA chapters with which we are involved have told us that the impact of cloud computing and the trends in managing cost and risk as part of a disaster recovery strategy are two topics that are currently posing challenges for them," says Steven Meyers, director of business development at ICS. "We created the educational content of these sessions with those challenges in mind."
The session in Orange County (Costa Mesa) will help law firms fully understand the benefits the cloud has to offer and the unique challenges involved in taking advantage of those benefits, which are too great to ignore, especially for law firms under constant pressure to reduce expenses. This presentation will educate law firm leaders on how to balance these risks and rewards to achieve the greatest possible outcomes for themselves and their clients.
The session in San Diego will give legal IT teams practical strategies for taking a quantitative approach to evaluating the way they are handling business continuity and disaster recovery. The session will focus on how to limit downtime, do more with less and get the cost of backup and recovery under control.
The events will take place at The Capital Grille in Costa Mesa on September 24, 2013, and at Fleming's Steakhouse in San Diego on September 26, 2013.
